At the Prince Mihailo's Konak the exhibition "Sergeant Olive Kelso King – An Australian in the Serbian Army" was opened. The opening ceremony was attended by the Australian Ambassador HE Ruth Stewart, the representatives of the City Dr Gordana Damljanovic, Health and Social Welfare member of the City Council, Miljan Bjeletic City Council member in charge of culture, Aleksandar Stajn, Mayor's Assistant for International Cooperation, the representatives of the Red Cross City Committee and numerous a great number of the citizens of Kragujevac.

Today the twin City of Ingolstadt donated gynecological examination chair to the Women’s Clinic, Health Centre of Kragujevac within the enhancement of healthcare cooperation between Cities of Kragujevac and Ingolstadt. The Delegation of the City of Ingolstadt Gabriel Engert Culture and Education Consultant and Christian Lange City Council representative with Doctor Gordana Damnjanovic, Kragujevac City Council Member in charge of Health and Social Welfare Policy and associates visited this health institution.

Ivica Momcilovic, Deputy Mayor, attended the reception of the Ambassador of Australia to Serbia HE Ms Ruth Stewart in official visit to Kragujevac at the City Hall. The prospects of cooperation in Information Technologies, Health and Social Welfare and Culture are discussed among other issues at the meeting.

Cooperation of the City of Kragujevac and South Moravia Region in the field of education, culture and sport was discussed at the meeting of the representatives of Local Authorities and the Delegation of South Moravia Region. Today's meeting along with the cooperation and friendly relations of the Cities of Kyjov and Kragujevac included consideration of the Project of two identical multifunctional sport playgrounds construction in Kyjov and Kragujevac. Both playgrounds construction is estimated to 400.000 € that will be financed from the special funds of the Czech Republic Government.

Addressing the guests doctor Damljanovic presented information about Kragujevac culture and history mentioning 200th jubilee from proclamation Kragujevac the capital of new modern Serbia stressing that Kragujevac is first city in many things amongst which first pharmacy opened in Serbia. Keeping the tradition of friendly relations and partnerships with many European and world cities Kragujevac today is a host of Delegation from Palestine.

Celebration of the Day of the Republic and the 100th anniversary of the Czech Republic independence organized in Kyjov was attended by three member Delegation of the City of Kragujevac Miroslav Petrasinovic, President of the City Assembly, Ivica Momcilovic, Deputy Mayor and Nikola Urosevic Mayor's Assistant for Sport Development. That was also the occasion for handing over the recognitions and awards to those that supported the establishment and enhancement of the cooperation between Kyjov and Kragujevac.

Cultural - Artistic Association of the City of Mesologgiou Greece “Eleftheri Poliorkimeni“ preformed for the audience of the Knjazevsko-Srpski Teatar in Kragujevac after numerous performances in the Region.

Miljan Bjeletic City Council Member in charge of Culture with Stefan Nikezic Mayor's Assistant in charge of Promoting Youth in Local Self-Government organized reception for the Delegation of the Province Shaanxi headed Dai Hanyun, representative of the City of Xian in charge for the International Cooperation and members of the Musical - Dancing Troop "Little Swan". Memorandum of Friendly Relations Establishment between the Cities of Kragujevac and Xi'an People's Republic of China is signed at the beginning of 2016 followed by Twinning Chart signing in June of the same year aimed at enhancing the connections and cooperation in the area of mutual interest.

100th years are marked by wreath-laying preformed by Army Honored Guard at the memorial to 44 Slovak soldiers of the 71st Infantry Regiment of the Austro-Hungarian army who rebelled against Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Wreaths are laid by the HE Dagmar Repčekova, Minister without Portfolio in charge of Demography and Population Policy Slavica Djukić-Dejanović, Delegations of the Cities of Trenčin and Kragujevac, veterans of Slovakia and Serbia and others. Veterans from Slovakia brought with them the earth from the birthplaces of each executed Slovak that was conscerated and spread over their graves.
