A reception for students of three elementary schools in Kragujevac who were awarded at the International Art Competition of the Chinese Province of Jiangsu (2021) and their teachers was organized at the City of Kragujevac. Twenty one students from schools "October 19", "Jovan Popović" and "Dositej Obradović" were awarded, and the awards and diplomas were presented by Dušan Aleksić, a City Councilor in Charge of Education.

The city of Kragujevac is one of the 11 cities and municipalities in Serbia that, starting today, begins the process of modernizing the district heating system using renewable energy sources.

Nikola Bertolini, Head of the Cooperation in the EU Delegation to Serbia, and Martin Klauke, Head of Operations Sector II at the EU Delegation to Serbia visited Kragujevac. They discussed with the City of Kragujevac and the Regional Agency for Economic Development of Šumadija and Pomoravlje representatives about current and future projects that will contribute to a better quality of life by creating favorable conditions to attract investors and enable competitiveness of small businesses.
