Commemorative Academy “Gunshot Kills the One that Shoots” is held at the First Grammar School of Kragujevac in the presence of the Mayor of Kragujevac Radomir Nikolic and his associates, foreign delegations, twin cities, University representatives, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Development, Kragujevac School Administration, pupils, parents, professors and friends of the school who paid the tribute to the executed pupils and professors of 1941 sending once more peace message to the world.

Kragujevac October will be remembered as long as there are people who preserve its memory, said in her address the principal of the First Grammar School Slavica Markovic and invited the present to one minute silence in remembrance of the innocent victims.

The Year 1941, month October still hurts, warns and reminds of the country in the mountainous Balkans. Years pass by, out of both the past and the present we draw the strength for tomorrow, a hope. Time goes on and by keeping the memory alive we are trying to create better world, the world without wars and human suffering, said Slavica Markovic, the Principal.

Together with the Serbia citizens the Balkan people are acquainted with Kragujevac October, too. The City that has the epithet of the city victim sends the peace message to the world.

City of Kragujevac sends the anti-war messages through number of other manifestations along with cultural one due to which many of the friendly relations are established, said Miljan Bjeletic, Member of the City Council in charge of Culture.
