Due to the MoU of the City of Kragujevac and Russian Humanitarian Mission in the course of July within the Project Serbian – Russian Mobile Clinic the citizens of 14 local communities will be examined in rural areas. MoU is signed today by the Mayor of Kragujevac Radomir Nikolic and the Head of the Russian Humanitarian Mission for the Balkans Dr Mihail Bondar. The Project envisages prevention examination and early detection of the disease of the citizens of the rural area in the vicinity of Kragujevac without the health centre. The examinations will be made by the doctor from Russia with doctors and medical technician from the Health Centre Kragujevac in the specialized van.
The agreement signed with the Russian Humanitarian Organization envisaged not only the assistance of the citizens that live far from the health centers and accordingly health services inaccessible but also the opportunity for the know-how and experience exchange with doctors from Russia, establish the cooperation and assess the possibility of implementation such health protection practice on the territory of Kragujevac, said the Mayor Radomir Nikolic. He pointed that this was only the beginning of the cooperation to be developed in other spheres of activities expressing his hope for successful cooperation of the Russian Humanitarian Organization and Clinic Centre.
Speaking about programme and mission Mihail Bondar, Head of the Russian Humanitarian Mission in the Balkans said that they were first time in Kragujevac and that the MoU was a platform for further cooperation development. Mutual efforts of Russian and Serbian are beneficial for the oldest and most vulnerable population of Kragujevac and vicinity, said Dr Bondar, adding the intention of cooperation development in education and science along with the health and that humanitarian activities are a good initiation.
Dr Gordana Damljanovic, member of the City Council in charge of Health and Social Welfare and Vasilije Antic, Director of the Health Center of Kragujevac with their associates talked with the members of the Russian Humanitarian Mission for the Balkans about the Project and possibility of new programme and cooperation activities.
After MoU signing in the City Hall the team of doctors and medical technicians went to the first site, the village of Bukurovac. Until July 15th free medical examinations from 9am to 3pm will be provided in 13 local communities in Velika Sugubina, Vlakca, Drenovac, Draca, Dobraca, Dulene, Ljubicevac, Maslosevo, Trmbas, Cerovac, Rogojevac, Cvetojevac and Kamenica.
