Кragujevac today hosted the ten member delegation of China led by the Zhao Yue, General Secretary of the Institute WANLI from Peking. The meeting organized at the City Hall was attended by Ivica Momcilovic, Deputy Mayor and Miljan Bjeletic, Member of the City Council in charge of Culture, Predrag Lucic, the Director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Sumadija and Pomoravlje and Bojan Pavlovic, Director of the City Tourist Organization.
Kragujevac is the city that cherishes friendly relations with the number of cities in the country and abroad, said among other things Ivica Momcilovic, Deputy Mayor and reminded that Kragujevac already had a twin city in China the Xi’an. Last week we hosted the Delegation of Art-Culture representatives of the City of Suzhou and in this way we are expanding the international cooperation with China at mutual pleasure.
WANLI Institute aims to promote the cooperation of China and foreign companies. Delegation comprised the representatives of the logistics, medical device manufacturing companies, railroad sector representatives, and the members of the team whose task is cultural cooperation and tourism promotion. Possibilities of cooperation establishment in several sectors was discussed at today’s meeting and the participants agreed that most realistic is initiation of culture and tourism cooperation i.e. by promotion of the tourist potentials of the City of Kragujevac and at some other stage the logistic cooperation, too.
Guests from China after the meeting visited the Old Forgery Museum, Old Parliament building and the Museum 21 October.
