October story is the well of hope in our heart. Hope that people wherever they were yesterday, today and tomorrow have enough strength to defend from the poor thoughts and acts. Story of the grammar school pupils and Sumarice, the never forget story, the admonition we wish to share with the world. The story that we tell in the languages of all people. We cannot unburden October from the darkness it bears but we can employ remembrance the most mighty weapon to create better world, the world without suffering and wars, said the school principal.

“I like October because it brings back memories. The memories that will never repeat again. I like Sumarice – their heart. The one we love live with us”, the ending line of the poem “Shot in the forehead of Kragujevac” written by the retires professor of Serbian language Dragan Bozic, preformed by the students of First Grammar School of Kragujevac.
